QS 177

Ok, the stage 3 is still not cracked. In fact none of the stage 2s have been cracked either. Here’s the fourth stage 2 of the series. Should definitely make things easier this one.

A

QS 176

February 20th, 2010

The response for QS 175 was lesser than that for QS 174. So my objective seems to have been completely defeated. Anyway, as promised I’ll keep the series going, until the stage 3 is cracked, with another four pointer. Five extra points for anyone who cracks the stage three today.

An album by a band that forms one half of A1 has a song named after arguably the most famous work of author A2. Name the album

C
The phrase first used by an American poet’s car mechanic, complaining about the incompetence of his assistants, was later associated with a group of people a few of whom have been shown in photograph. The phrase, also used to refer to the youth of the 1920s, came back into usage during the Global economic crisis of 2007-10. What phrase?

QS 175

February 18th, 2010

Ok, since nobody has cracked yesterday’s question, I’ll raise the stakes. What I will do is have a four pointer today as well. And the answer to today’s question along with that to yesterday’s (I mean the grand connects) would now form part of another theme (Stage three, in effect). This would probably continue for the next few days until either I run out of enthu or enough people have cracked the stage three, whichever happens first. So here’s today’s question

A
What other famous painting, according to many scholars, would be a part of this list? May not really be exhaustive, simply because there has so far been no concrete evidence to prove the claim.
